Everything about the poster’s assessment of the issue is just soooo wrong.

Tl;Dr OP was hitting the traction control button instead of the window switch, misinterprets the TCS Off light as something else, correlates the light with  their window not working.

I...I have questions...isn’t one a button and one a switch? I guess maybe not in a car from 2000. Either way, h ow close together are they? It’s been a long while since I’ve been in a CLK.
